Luiza is founder and CEO of Gema Ventures. She also founded and directed one of the first accelerators of the country, the Papaya Ventures. Before that, she was Consultant to the Associate Director at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris, where she also worked as Coordinator of Innovation Policies for Latin America. She has a Degree in Engineering from PUC-Rio, has an MBA from INSEAD, and worked as a Consultant at Accenture do Brasil and at Cantillon Capital Management hedge fund in London. In 2013, she was named Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and Rising Talent Women’s Forum for Economy & Society.
